The Cross Barn
Funded by the Loddon and Test LEADER Programme, the kitchen has been completely modernised. The equipment and services have been upgraded and the layout remodelled.
In addition to a gas double-oven range there is also a hot water boiler, a catering fridge, a freezer, two warming cupboards, a microwave and an industrial dishwasher. There is also a double food preparation sink, a separate hand washing sink and 12 electrical sockets. This fully equipped kitchen has crockery and cutlery for 100 place settings. A fire blanket and a fire extinguisher are also located in the kitchen. There is a large electrically operated serving hatch opening onto the Great Hall.
